Discovering Sacred Geometry

Today, we are going to talk about one topic which is more than an essential part of the yoga discipline, I’m talking about Sacred Geometry. Why is this topic related to this discipline? Well, I will tell you that thanks to this geometry system, we are able to achieve a state of calm and peace that is part of one of the multiples of the benefits that yoga provides us. But, let's first introduce this term and discover what is behind it.

Sacred geometry can be defined as a collection of geometric shapes and specific geometry proportions. It is related to the belief that God is the geometer of the world. This geometry has been used in many religious constructions, for instance, churches, altars or mosques.

It is remarkable to say that we all take part in this geometry since our brains are the main protagonist of its development. Sacred Geometry, allows that both hemispheres connect between each other, the left and the right part, helping us to achieve our objective since we could be able to choose the best path to follow.

This composition inspires your life by leaving behind any material problem you may have. You could be able to achieve more easily the state of balance than by doing long hours of meditation. At least it is the theory that Janosh has been searching about over the years. Moreover, he has created a virtual language by using sacred geometry. He says that our language has been influenced by our past therefore, sacred geometry seems to be the only way to get to our subconscious. By the observation of this new language, you will be able to make a journey inside your brain.

He is not the first human being who has been searching about this sacred geometry. If we have a look at our history, many years ago the famous philosopher Platon claim to say that this Sacred Geometry language was our soul language. As a matter of fact, he says that it was the purest element. This theory of sacred geometry and its influence on the human’s soul has to do with the Platons soul theory, which says that our soul has a memory, however, when it gets into our body it forgets about its past. For Platon, it might be possible to make our memories back by the use of this sacred geometry.

Nevertheless, let me tell you that the history of this system goes a more far way in the past. Did you know any society which could have any relation with magic and numbers? Well, Egyptian society has its own schools in which they teach about sacred geometry. The most famous ones were the Mystery academy and the House of life

Bearing in mind these ideas you might think that it is all about faith and spirituality. Nevertheless, scientists have been investigating how this Sacred geometry could activate certain parts of our brain. So as you can see this is an important subject of study that is being nowadays a mystery to solve.

Let’s see some examples:

Toroid

It can remind us of a famous donut shape, however, this is a toroid that is being created by the rotation of a circle about a line tangent. Its surface can be covered with seven different areas.

The flower of life

In the background of this circle, we can see a composition of a repetitive hexagonal grid. We can see this example in many Egyptian walls since it was displayed on Osirion's temple.

Grid of life

This figure is composed of 64 grid tetrahedron. This is the masculine version of the flower of life, the example we have seen before.

Merkaba

The symbol consists of 2 intersecting tetrahedrons that rotate in opposite directions, this creates an energy field that is commonly referred to as a light body.

This symbol is composed of two intersecting tetrahedrons which rotate in opposite directions. This creation is connected with light, spirit and body.
